The Mount, Lenox

Yesterday I installed "Fruits of Fancy 2" for this Summer's Sculpture Now show "Common Ground". Great setting for sculpture of course amongst the woodland leading to the Edith Wharton home. The location for Fruits of Fancy on the edge of the wood as it opens up onto the grass provides a real contrast with the formal gardens of the house.

Looking down from the wooded cool of the Pet Cemetery across to the formal tree avenue in blazing sun.

The show runs from June 1 through October 31. Opening celebration with first guided tour of the sculptures followed by reception will be on June 15.
